Calearo is an Italian Group with over 50 years history producing advanced communication technologies, working with worldwide automotive leading manufacturers and operating in telecommunication fields.
The Group is composed of different divisions, based in North-Eastern Italy, where are located the research and development centre (with highly qualified staff of approximately 50 persons, PhDs, Engineers and Technicians, dedicated to Research and Development for all Business Divisions of the Group), production, validation and management facilities. It has a second production plant in Samorin, Slovakia and in Zaghouan, Tunisia. Recently Calearo opens new offices in Detroit (U.S.A.) and Brussels (Belgium).
Calearo Group is involved in the project with the Calearo Advanced Technologies division, which will act as Prime Contractor.
Calearo Advanced Technologies is part of the ESA eco-system since 2009, with special focus on S-Band projects:

- J-ORTIGIA, Phase 3, 2009-2010 (ESTEC 21517/08/NL/US)
